Thanks to support from the community, we have surpassed our goal of raising $25,000 in our Friends and Family fundraiser. Meeting our goal unlocks a matching gift from the Copeland Foundation! A lot of time and effort went into raising these funds; we were able to achieve this largely with the efforts of our rowers, parents, and volunteers. Thank you!
With this additional funding, we can continue adding newer boats and oars to our fleet. We're already anticipating two new-to-us Vespoli fours this March, freshly restored in the Vespoli shop. These boats were purchased prior to this fundraiser in Spring '22 and don't use any of these additional funds.
Newer equipment is a real boost for this year's rowers, and an investment in the future of community rowing on the Neponset. We look forward to seeing our many supporters generosity rewarded with enthusiasm, dedication and effort on the Neponset this spring.
High school and adult registration for spring rowing will open up very soon – we can't wait to get back out on the water! And thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous support!
